I must say that her terminal is better than when I last went to stansted (terminal 2). much more to choose and a better variety when it comes to where to eat. airport staff was friendly and efficient, not complaining.
Cracking small airport! I live directly from birmingham international so was concerned about coming to luton, now I would definitely recommend it for the sheer lightness and convenientness of the parking space, stay and fly all at a place. the hotel and the parking were great, the shuttle transfers were easy to use. the airport is not big, but let them take a lot of time to get through the first safety mattress! Once it's over, it just hangs out, cools out and flies out. there are many facilities to eat and drink or to take last minute shopping.
Organised airport with plenty of facilities including a prayer room and special a assistance desk. Many first aid kits and a defibrillator available in the special services area. Transfer from airport and inside airport well organised. The unpleasant thing about the airport is that it lacks a quick access zone for pickup and drop off, they make you go trough the main parking and charge 5£ just for driving by.
It’s not massive but for what it is, it’s decent. It has all the shops you would need really, the essentials and so i liked it. Wasn’t too complex.
The airport may not be large for a London airport, but it has some great shops, including dining and drinks at reasonable prices. It's not overly chaotic, and I really enjoy the atmosphere. The staff at this airport are lovely and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this airport for flying, although the downside is its distance from central London. However, travelers can catch a nice nap on the bus or in a taxi into the city.
