Bidrage med feedbackJust a heads up... Went today and a sign was posted on the doors saying that the place had been sold and a new restaurant would be opening there soon.
Awesome selection of gluten free deliciousness. Hidden gem in an area where chain restaurants are the norm. I drive by here nearly every day but still hadn’t stopped in, partly because tend toward more of a carnivore diet (or at least omnivore , but it’s a Friday in Lent and warm vegetarian comfort food sounded great. Let me tell you, I didn’t miss meat in the slightest! So many different textures and flavors, and a variety of spice levels. The owners were super friendly and helped me pick out what would be gluten free (lots to choose from and even cooked up some gluten free bread (3 kinds! for my Thali plate. I probably ate about half of it, and am so full I may not eat again for a week. After that though, I’m sure I’ll be hitting up the drive thru now that I’ve found my favorites.
Thali ??Louisville is incredibly blessed to offer a dynamic potpourri, when it comes to gastronomy. And if you don't realize that, get out of your Highlands (fill in the blank) comfort zone and see what the talk is all about!Sonals is located right before Oldham county. Nestled across the Ford Plant past Springhurst. If you haven't been, you haven't lived. And if you haven't tried Indian before, what are you doing with your life?! #allingoodhumorIn my top 5 restaurants of Louisville. I may be partial because I love Indian good. Especially, Thali style. The restaurant is ALLERGEN Friendly. They offer gluten free bread instead of Roti. Among other fantastic Allergen options. Plenty of vegan dishes and they are always happy to accommodate and whip up fresh food for your dietary needs!

So many yummy, flavorful, S. India options! As a vegan, I was more than satiated. (And my doshas were settled)Rivals my fave Indian taxi stand spots in Manhattan (if you know, you know). I suggest trying the street food options small rice bowls and the Thalis for when you're sharing or want to try a variety. A must is the Vegan tea made with coconut milk, ginger and turmeric. If anything on the menu is unfamiliar, don't hesitate to inquire. They are very warm and happy to give suggestions based on your tastes. Superb customer service!
