Grandma Soul Food Cafe - Louisville

Three of us, while traveling cross country on motorcycles, stopped for lunch today at Carnell’s. What a wonderful and unexpected pleasure it was! The staff is absolutely the best and the food is excellent in every way. The facility is spotless including the outdoor eating area, the dining room and even the toilet. The Executive Chef and his wife, the owners, are an absolute joy. This is a must visit small business!

Fish fillets were large, very tasty. Burger was juicy. Wings were excellent. Staff was friendly. Cabbage rolls weren’t what we expected only because we didn’t think they’d be so gooey cheesy (would like to have had more cabbage in it; they were good tho). Would stop here again for a quick bite.

Food is Great, especially the cabbage rolls fresh salads, location is easy to find. The waitress are very polite. not a long wait on your food
