Bidrage med feedbackThis was most horrifying experience at a restaurant I have experienced. Very dissatisfied with the service my family and I received. We are all on vacation and if we ever come back to London we will not come back to Zizzi. The food was not worth the TWO HOUR wait we went through. We all even thought about leaving. Drink service was bad. My mother had to walk to the front to get her own water glass because one was not given to her even after she asked for one. Our waiter as well had a horrible unfriendly mouth. Never showed respect for any of us. Very rude. Bad food. Bad service.
Good service and convenient location to my hotel. Prices are fair and the food was good. I had a pizza for a main and mixed olives to start. All tasted fresh and portion size was good. I had a couple large glasses of red wine with it which were also reasonably priced and good quality. I'm in this area a couple times a yr and would return to this restaurant
There are a plethora of pizza restaurants in London many of them good. Zizzi in Canary Wharf is one of them. Idyllically located on the river, sitting outside at dusk in the summer is really nice. When it is getting cold grab a seat indoors where there is a little more hustle and bustle. Although busier inside there is a warming happy atmosphere that is comforting. The menu is traditional Italian, pizza, pasta and salad. I went with three friends and we had starters, mains and desserts with wine. All the individual dishes were excellent. The only problem was the time it took for the food to come out. They were very busy, but the food took ages to come, and it was difficult to locate our server to inquire about the whereabouts of our meal. This almost spoiled our evening, but I have been since when it was quieter and the food and service was spot on.
I initially came here for a cup of coffee. We asked before if we could only drink (we werent sure about the food), and they told us that it was ok. Once seated at the terrace, we waited (because nobody came to take our order)until I had to ask if someone would be taking our order soon, then the person/manager/waiter, told us that drinks had to be order with a meal so, since we only wanted a coffee and we had been told that we could order just that, we left. Such a pity, the food looked so good but I can't say the same for the service.
Food was well prepared but the service left a lot to be desired. At some point I felt like walking out, only to feel sorry for the obviously overwhelmed waiter who was somehow expected to serve the entire restaurant. Decent place but could do with more attention to customer service.
