The Peasant - London

Beautiful pub, had fish and chips, the typical English meal. fish was cooked properly and chips were fresh. only heaps weren't so great. very nice pub with good food.

To start, we chose a pint. they have a rather extensive beer list that I am happy to explore the next time we go. Unfortunately, I completely forgot what we had. but they were nice. the menu had some interesting dishes

Great and biggest burger I ate! the chips are perfect and handmade. do not expect ordinary pub food, but prepare to pay a little more

Good gastropub. visited this good gastropub with friends for Sunday dinner. the roasts are good, healthy portions with huge yorkshire puddings. very tasty and good value for money.

“What’s crisp lamb fry?” Wife asks unwittingly. “It’s lambs’ testicles,’ the guy serving us at The Peasant answers in a deadpan face. “Oh…”. I consider myself rather adventurous when it comes to food. I love pig’s blood (it’s really like iron packed soft tofu). Pig’s intestine comes a close second. Frankly it goes well with rice. I don’t mind chicken feet
