Bidrage med feedbackHad an incredible meal. when we saw who supported it, we thought we would try it, and it was not disappointed! the scallops were extremely good; followed by perfectly boiled venison and angle. also the pork bread sauce must be tried. and the sides were also super- only sad that we could not all try. Surprisingly it was not busier- I think it will be as it becomes known! we're safe back.
I was alone in the city for work and found this beautiful jewel. I could sit at the bar of the open kitchen and watch the whole action. the chefs and kitchen staff were entertaining and offered great suggestions to try. the maitre d or manager (jessie or jamie) was so attentive. she recommended the perfect lamb and wein. I had to end with the hot sticky toffee that was out of this world! thank you for feeling me at home on the street.
Eating was excellent, including peskatarian options and some amazing sites and appetizers. service was really good merlin was great and had really good recommendations to what to order. atmosphere a little lacks, as it is not very busy and quite quiet, especially for a Friday night, but think that not for long as eating is great!
An amazing meal. everything presented was top shelf and carefully prepared. there are more than enough to fill them and the aromen are incredible. the bark meat, boiled over an open fire, is juicy and tender and complemented by an amazing selection of wine. do not hesitate to recommend gridiron.
Such an underrated London restaurant. I have eaten here twice now and the food was perfect. Wine list has great entries on it and the service top notch too. A hidden gem.
