Bidrage med feedbackAn old French restaurant in charlotte street, elena’s l’etoile, is a stalwart and a favorite of the English prominent when I went past, I discovered alan bennett and ronnie corbett, which together from the lunch, hug and step in separate taxis. the walls are lined with photos of famous mules of pastness, giving the place a real feeling of inheritance and stardom. eating was excellent as they can imagine traditional French dishes done to perfection. the salmon with quid ink pasta was a special tasty bite. beautiful service, wonderful facility and a wonderful night that they feel as if they have entered into an unaway pastness when entering this place.
The waiter almost fell by asking for the pan roasted duck breast. as I try to allow me a little pink in my flesh, I met him halfway and went too well for medium. it was accompanied by parmentiere celeriac, brat baby precious stone, roast red paprika pure red wine sauce, a good looking plate of eating and extremely tasty. I was surprised by the red pfefferpüre, there was a really happy taste on unusually pleasant wise, but the juicy duck was always a winner.

From both of us I found eating at elenas to be totally acceptable, but the price-performance ratio is a bit ho-hum. the photos of the stars that decorate the walls gives him a certain charm, but the bright lighting makes nothing for the shaded color job that lurking behind the mugs, and I felt, giving the place a caffe feeling. Some candles and somewhat lower lighting could go the inner further.
