The service was very poor. A simple request to have papadums straight away whilst we selected the rest of our order was refused, as it is more convenient for the staff to enter the whole order at once. How hard can it be to add the papadums in, once the full order is taken? Who are we there to please, the customers or the waiters? Then we were expected to eat our main course with the same dirty plates and cutlery as the starters, all covered in chutneys which would spoil the flavour of the main course. The slightly rude waiter said he was willing to give us new plates (though he didn't sound very happy about it) but we must keep our dirty knives and forks. Making us feel like we were serving him! It's not cheap, either. That kind of attitude might be got away with in a cheap cafe, but this is not right. In fact, even the cheapest workmen's cafes serving egg and chips always offer fresh cutlery for each course. Also the music level was too high. We asked for it to be turned down but it was still too high and so we could not hear ourselves. The proprietors seem to think a good restaurant is a loud, noisy restaurant! Not true. The food itself was very good, but I would hesitate to come back as everything else was just...wrong.

Many dishes described as taste explosions. Couldn’t agree more. Absolutely delicious.
