Aubaine Marylebone - London

The staff was very friendly, and the food was good. However, there was unfortunately a lack of atmosphere; on a Saturday night, there were very few other diners, and the room felt dark and empty.

This restaurant is beautiful, offering excellent food in a lovely, serene atmosphere. It's an ideal spot for a Christmas dinner with friends and family. The server is very friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.

Great value with a wide menu selection. Our large group of family and friends all found excellent choices. The cocktails were delightful as well. There was an issue with the booking system; we initially reserved a table at another Aubaine (Mayfair), but the system mistakenly booked us at the Marylebone location instead. This has happened to us before. However, in the end, we were very pleased with our evening.

Food was absolutely amazing. The service ruined it. One example to sum it up would be that the waiter waited for us to ask in order for him to give us water. And when he did, he filled my glass halfway and my boyfriend’s glass 1/4 full. Which was wild. He never came back to refill. Food was great but not worth the poor service. There’s too much good food out there elsewhere to deal with that. On top of that, there was a service charge already added to the bill.

The service was below average for a more pricey establishment, the service wasn’t very quick or good. I think the waiter was new which was more than fine but he didn’t know any of the menu items, got our orders wrong and delivered them to the wrong people. Any one of those things could have happened on their own and would have been fine but the combination dampened the ambience of the dinner
