The Clubhouse By The Beach - Lombok

We were passing by and we stopped by this restaurant and entered it seduced by its aspect and live music. We started by ordering fruit juices which turned out to be served HOT!! We asked no ice but the juices were hotter than the outside temperature. We complained and they told us the juices were made with “normal water” (did they mean tap water?? . The food was horrible, we could not eat a piece! Except from the ambience and good live music, the restaurant is awful and we dont recommend it to anyone.

We were here august 2022 with my family of 6. Can say out of our 4 week journey in Bali and Lombok this is the best Italian food we had and one of the most kind service. We normale never go back to the same place but after 3 weeks mostly Indonesian food we went back the day after for more. The cannelloni was outstanding, as was the carbonara, pollo alfredo etc. They even made a special dish for my wife. The seating was beautiful on the beach, very romantic! Even perfect for a romantic dinner saw 2 people dining amongst roses, candles etc. Thank you to all the staff for 2 relaxed and beautifull nights.

Very bad food, the location is nice however they have no clue on how to cook. Mostly is use of instant sauce that do not give at all the typical taste.

We ate here on a few separate occasions.. breakfast as we were staying in the oceano jumbuluwuk resort, enough to choose from: cereal, eggs, pancakes, waffles, noodles, or toast. When we came here for lunch they did get the order wrong one day by missing off a pizza and a portion of fries, but they soon rectified it and brought it out as soon as it was ready. The staff were lovely, one woman in particular I didn’t catch her name she remembered our lead booking name off by heart and always greeted us by that which was a nice touch. One thing I didn’t like is after we’d had lunch one day we ordered a large bintang, however on the bill they had charged us for a bottle of water so came to us the next morning and interrupted us over breakfast to say we owed 40,000 IDR. Which, as it was their mistake would have either expected them not to mention it, or to just mention it on check out. Other than that the food was tasty came at different times but we expected that and had lunch on the beach front with a lovely swing close by.

I don't know why all these bad reviews. We just have had dinner and everything was great. Very tasty food, fantastic service and close to the beach. 100% recommended.
