Bidrage med feedbackVery crowded for lunch. Tables a bit wonky, chairs almost universally have split vinyl with foam showing through. Food is nice, with a good range for yum cha, but delays of up to 20 mins on some standard items such as spring rolls and custard tarts. Overall, not as good as it used to be. price is still reasonable. Bookings available.
It's a quite large Chinese Cantonese restaurant. I have tried the Yum Cha and also went there for dinner. The food is good!
Was invited to this Yum Cha by a group of friends. Had high expectations but very disappointing. Food average and staff uninterested. The shirts on the staff were filthy and not ironed. I hate to think what the kitchen was like. There are far better places to eat Chinese food in Brisbane. Would not go back.
I don't mind queuing for great food but totally disappointed. Maybe it was because they were overworked with Mother's Day? Only fried food and desserts were on the trolley (often zooming by without a chance to grab food). You have to collect your own steamed dumpling from the 'buffet' which was lacking in choice (not what was advertised at the front door menu). I was told it was a prawn dumpling. I bit in and chewed into pork and spent the next 10 minutes with my head in the toilet (I don't eat meat). We waited for our ordered Chinese tea and chilli sauce for nearly 10 minutes and then received 3 pots of tea and 3 plates of sauce at the same time. We eat Yum Cha in the valley regularly and thought going to the source at Sunnybank would be an extra special treat for Mother's Day. It wasn't. Food and service was pretty rubbish. Sorry!
Food was cold, Msg through alot of it! As yum cha lovers this would be the worst we've ever been too! So much better yum cha options around i dont understand why this is so busy. We definately wont be back!
