Bidrage med feedbackI've been to this shop twice, the first visit I had a very bitter latte and I thought that was it. Today I was there again cause they have sushi on the poster I thought this maybe another chance that I would like this shop. It turned out to be they don't serve sushi long ago ....... so I ordered a cake to go, it was pretty expensive cause they chop it in a really thin slice for about $8 of cost. Last but not least, the lady doesn't smile very much, guess I'll never be there again.
Came here to have coffee with my parents for the first time. We ordered some Espressos, tried there Avocado&Feta as well as there Ham&Cheese Toastie. I'm in for a coffee any day, however my first experience here - I was served with a burnt coffee. The froth was bubbly and it wasn't poured to the top when served. The flat whites were really watery as well. Majority of my avocado and feta was mixed lettuce. I had 3 sliced tomatoes with a bit of dressing. There was one piece of toast that was sliced in half and on the side was precisely just one spoon of smashed avocado mixed with feta. The toastie was okay, they can maybe consider using thick bread rather than the thin ones. The staff who served me didn't have a smile at all, otherwise my rating would've been higher :(
The cafe has a wonderful atmosphere, very quiet. The service was quick. While the iced tea I ordered was great, I cannot say the same for the macarons that I got. The banana bread was okay but definitely priced on the higher end of the scale.
Hidden in plain sight in a busy shopping centre it's easy to overlook this place. In an area renowned for its wonderful Asian restaurants it's unusual to find such a gem of a cafe. Simple but delicious menu, especially for a weekend brunch. The breakfast eggs are particularly good. Great coffee. Only possible problem is parking at Pinelands Plaza can be a pain at times but it's worth the effort.
This cafe has a nice warm feel to it with the timber interior. I like how they play jazz in the background. Ordered the Green Tea Latte and waffles. Green tea latte was one of the better ones I've had. Waffles come with banana, cream and ice-cream. They came fairly nicely presented on a wooden board with the latte in a double layered glass cup. The front counter looks really inviting with heaps of breads (banana), muffins and cakes. Interested to come back and try their Honey Bread if I'm in the area as well as their Earl Grey latte. Last time I was here the atmosphere was fairly different as it was lunch time and they were understaffed. I remember they were already running around when our toddler spilt coke on the floor and they didn't have time to wipe it up. This time I went mid morning mid-week there was only one other person there. It's not particularly good value but its reasonable. The cake slices are $7ish while the waffle was $6.80. Sweet treats in the adjacent mall does Green Tea Lattes for cheaper (but smaller). There are cheaper places in the surrounding suburbs for the food I tend to go for; so it probably wouldn't be my first choice. instagram.com
