Le Terrazze Di Eolo - LIPARI

Had a great meal here a few years ago and glad to report it was just as good! The catch of the day was perfection and the staff were delightful! A lovely terrace with a nice view of the sea, highly recommended.

I know in Italy lunch starts later, but we had to catch a ferry at noon and we would be traveling all day so we wanted to get something to eat around 11 am. We asked if they were open and they said yes, but when we asked for something salty we got looked upon. Never mind, we order whatever they had left from breakfast, fine, but then we hear the waitresses making fun of us for wanting to get lunch before noon. This because they thought we didn’t speak Italian. It took forever to get our old microwave reheated croissant and old piece of cake. Not recommended.

We stopped here on the way back from viewing the eruptions on the Sciara del Fuoco. We opted for the fish of the day which was excellent. It was not the cheapest, but the setting and quality made up for this
