Lee Donuts - Libertyville

We had Lee Donuts for the first time on the other day, I think it's difficult to find a good donut shop in the area, but now I think my search is over! I think it was the owner who helped us with our order when considering that there was a newspaper hanging on the wall, and her picture was on the cover of this newspaper, she was very friendly and helpful, all you would expect in a local store owner, the donuts were excellent, had a sampling of a vanilla frosted long John, Blueberry cake donut, maple glazed cake donut, lemon filled, lemon They serve them well on site. There is a bit more ride from where we live, but it is worth spending time.

What a great assortment of delicious donuts! These are varieties which you can't find at other chain locations.

Coming from the West Coast, these are the best donuts I have tried since moving here.

Lee Donuts is pretty good, but probably not the 100% best in the area. I do recommend giving them a try. The donuts are quite tasty and the prices are fair. They have quite a variety to choose from, but get there early because they sell out of some quickly. The coffee is kept fresh and is very good. The shop is a little run down and old, but it is kept clean and pleasant.

Just had the maple donut and it is like going back in time. Old school, fresh, delicious. My family loves Lee’s donuts!
