It's one week after our wedding, and our guests are still raving about the food from Silk that we served at both our post-ceremony brunch and sangeet dinner. Manas at Silk is the epitome of professionalism and class: he is kind, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and very collaborative! He adapted their regular menu to incorporate some of my husband's family's favorite foods, and he offered helpful advice all throughout our wedding planning process. Dishes were presented beautifully, too.We were impressed at our first tasting by Silk's version of kathi rolls, their bingeworthy vegetable kofta, and the rosemary beef on their fusion menu; and then I was even more pleased with Manas's straightforward and friendly approach to business. I can't recommend Silk enough for your next holiday banquet or wedding spread!

I hired them for my mehendi event and I will never make that mistake again or let anyone I know make this mistake.Upon booking silk parties, Binni assured me that she's also an event coordinator. She mentioned that event coordination is included in our package and explained how she would manage things on the day of the event but I found myself setting up table favors as the bride before the event began.Despite paying for an expensive drink package, we were promised soda cans, water bottles, and lassi. However, we ended up with dirty kitchen sink water in jugs that were not even properly cleaned and just two 2-liter soda bottles. Predictably, we quickly ran out, leaving my guests unsatisfied. The servers informed us that the soda had run out, despite us having paid for it. Binni was not there when this happened and no one did anything.The situation escalated towards the end of the night when a man claiming to be the hotel manager verbally confronted my family and DJ, even going so far as to interfere with the DJ equipment and trying to pull and throw it on the ground. Binni was not there for this incident either.Adding to the disappointment, the lassi had an unpleasant odor, which all my guests pointed out .After the mehndi, when I contacted Binni with my concerns, she brushed them off by referring to the timing limitations outlined in our contract. Ironically, these restrictions were only exceeded due to the event's delayed start at 7 pm. This delay occurred despite our original plan for the event to begin at 5 pm, a fact she was well-informed about.In her role as an event coordinator, it was her responsibility to ensure the punctuality of the decorator. Regrettably, the event commenced two hours behind schedule due to the decorator's tardiness.To compound matters, I never received a copy of the contract despite multiple requests, as I had signed it in person. I have no intention of engaging with SILK parties again and cannot recommend their services. Save your money and look elsewhere.I'm posting this review three months after my event only because a friend was considering hiring them, and I believe it's important for potential clients to have a clear understanding of what to expect before making a booking decision and spending thousands of dollars.

We used Silk catering for our daughter’s Sangeet.From the initial consultation to the tasting and to the event , Manas was very responsive and polite and helped us choose the best items for a fusion menu. Service was excellent and food was delicious- taco station, Indo-Chinese, chaats, satay, kebabs, desserts : all very tasty .We will definitely cater with them in future.
