Lettuce Be Loco - Leesburg

Met a friend here for lunch this past weekend and it was terrific! It’s kinda off the beaten path but their signs were super helpful to get us to their door. The food was so fresh and tasty. I got the Cobb Salad and my friend got the Berry Salad. We devoured them both. The cider vinaigrette on the Cobb salad was perfect. Atmosphere was clean and decorated beautifully. Staff was very helpful since it was our first time there and the owner(? was walking around making sure we were all satisfied. Will definitely be back! If you want a large, filling, yummy salad I would highly recommend them!

I love the concept of this place. Leesburg has been missing a salad place for years. The Italian lentil soup is excellent. However, the falafel salad bowl needs improvement as the falafel is way too dry. The salad was also mainly capers and olives- not enough falafel to be a falafel salad. I must have eaten about 50 olives- no joke. My spouse got the same salad as well and while he loves olives and capers- he too thought the falafel was dry and lacking as well. I'll continue to support this place because I like the concept but hopefully they will improve their falafel!

After months of stalking Lettuce Be Loco on Instagram I finally had a chance to stop in today. As excited as I am to finally see a fast casual salad option in Loudoun I don't think Lettuce Be is quite hitting the mark. I decided to try the Caesar Don't Kale My Vibe based on the description (I'm a s for shaved Parmesan). Enter my first disappointment: the shaved Parmesan was in fact your run of the mill grocery store grated Parmesan. Not a huge deal except that the quality was far below what I was expecting. I also noted that the sun dried tomatoes were cut very large and were so leathery I couldn't chew them. I was able to pick them out but they did account for a solid 1/4 of my topping volume. Now onto my three major complaints and the basis of my 2-star rating. When I got to the end of the line I was asked if I wanted the standard dressing that came with the salad and replied in the affirmative. I was very surprised to see a vinaigrette style dressing when the description clearly lists a creamy caesar dressing but after the cheese I just figured this was par for the course. I was very sad to learn upon tucking into my salad for lunch that I was given the cider dressing instead. It was edible but did not make for a caesar salad. My second major issue is the price. I've eaten fast casual salads for years and fully expect to pay a premium for quality ingredients and service. However I was surprised to see that the salad I purchased was a full $2 more expensive than a comparable salad at Sweet Green in Tysons. I do not feel the salad I received was on par with Sweet Green quality nor do I feel Leesburg is at a point of being able to charge prices in excess of Tysons. My final and most critical issue is that I saw one of the employees remove his gloves while preparing the order of the customer ahead of me and proceed to pickup bits of tortilla chip that fell onto the counter with his ungloved hands and stuff them back into the salad before giving it to the customer. Thankfully gloves were worn at all times during the making of my salad but it does concern me that this could be happening to other customers and it's something to be aware of. Overall I really wanted to love this place as I miss my fast casual salad options but this place is going to be a pass for me in the future.

No reason to give it anything less than 5 stars!!! I LOVE this new restaurant.The low ratings are because the individual probably did not experiment with the combination of ingredients together better; I would suggest getting your go-to and then experimenting with different ingredients.My only concern was that the brown rice was hard to eat, some of the granules were 'crunchy ' and hard.The presentation is beautiful, and the amount of food and flavors are just incredible. The price is adequate, better than most places, however.Otherwise, it was the BEST SALAD I have ever had!!! Paired with their Lemonade!! Definitely go get yourself an awesome salad from them.

Delicious salad! I got the street corn without added protein (to go) and it’s delicious!
