Blue Mountains Hotel - LAWSON

We dined at the Blue Mountains Hotel this evening and it was amazing. Brett provided exceptional service, going above and beyond. The staff were friendly, approachable, and clearly enjoyed their work. The service was top-notch. The food was delicious, especially the steaks. The pub offers a diverse menu with high-quality ingredients used in all of our dishes. Thank you to the chef and team. We will definitely be returning!

Had a lunch in the pub, my hubby had a porterhouse steak, which was very good. chips were thin, crisp and tasty. bier was very good, I have a xpa and hubby had another craftsman who was also good. I ordered a Moroccan tagine... at $30 (website says $24) I was thrilled with, but instead I got a dry bed of cousin with some quick cooked tasteless vegetables without sauce. I imagined a veggie dish, in a rich sauce, with taste, but it was a very simple dish without crimson, no sauce and no taste. very disappointing. I would certainly avoid this dish and I hope the cook revisit the recipe and make it a delicious.

Bright clean pub with very friendly staff. they have guinness on tap and a pool table. that was great. I can not recommend the lamb souvlaki high enough, and hubby carving was big and juicy.

This fabulous hotel has just changed the hands and we decided to try it. we are not great eaters in the midst of the day, but were in the position to have a child size meal each huh nuggets and fish with chips. very hot and. chic and fast service. it seems to be a few new bar staff: the service was a little slow and I think the new people will do better when the younger members of the bar staff focus a little more on serving and a little less on giggling, chatting with each other and beating that 's why this review is not full of five stars. hopefully they will find their feet as soon as the service was excellent five stars among the previous owners paul and angela. no paper towels in the ladies look. I would also suggest offering a selection of competition meals for smaller appetite.

I love this place. I love the food, the people and the ambience. It helps when people like Dora and Zach make it that much better. Thanks for your exceptional phone manner Dora and your welcoming smile. To Zach who is so attentive and spoke...to us like old friends and noticed everyone and everything.
