The fried rice was rather bland on its own, but when mixed with the General's sauce, it added a nice burst of flavor. Now, let’s talk about the highlight: the crab rangoon! In Lawrence, I've typically found rangoons to be dry, including both the wonton wrap and the cream cheese filling. However, the rangoon I had at Red Pepper was the best I've enjoyed since leaving the East Coast. It was perfectly fried and crispy all around, not soggy at the bottom, and the filling was rich and warm—absolutely heavenly! I could tell right away that the kitchen at Red Pepper is not cutting corners, as they don’t over-prepare or let their rangoons sit under a heat lamp. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant, especially for the fresh and creamy crab rangoons!
This is definitely my favorite choice for delivery; the food is incredibly delicious!
