This is the best Wetherspoons I have been to, having visited around 20 others across the country. The other locations should follow their lead. The food was great and the service was excellent.
I have always had a great experience at Marston's pubs. The food is delicious and the Marston's beer is excellent. The building, although old and likely a former coaching inn, could benefit from a bit of refurbishment. Overall, I would give it four stars.
Well it's a Spoons! I go there for a decent breakfast. The service is always quick and friendly. The only criticism I would make is that many of the tables need clearing. However, there are plenty of tables that are clear and clean so it's not a problem. I realise that the fast friendly service may well be at the expense of keeping up with the business of clearing tables. While it's not ideal, I think a sensible compromise during a tough time is being made as the service genuinely is excellent.
Good quick service. However, prices have gone up again. Now over £10 for a curry. We don't go as often as we used to as a result.
