Bidrage med feedbackWent for dinner on Valentine's Day after hearing rave reviews about this place. The food was awful and over priced. Out of the 5 things we were served, only 1 was actually delicious. Lobster ravioli was basic, steak was a fast fry (at $37) and the crème brûlée was inedible-underdone and oily, no crust on top. Will never come here again, So disappointing
Excellent food and the service was fantastic! Chef was a delight and we enjoyed it very much. We will be back!
Note to other reviewers...if you don't want to pay $9 for a Caesar Salad, please stay home. This is a place to relax, sip a glass of wine and let a professional chef take care of you for the night. This is NOT a fast food chain or The Olive Garden. Chef Andres Munoz preps and prepares everything from scratch including sourcing out high quality local ingredients. I have been here numerous times and the food is always exceptional! Each week he serves, cooks and clears tables himself. He is a small business owner trying to make it in a small town he calls home. I personally like to support local businesses especially when they provide fresh local ingredients and are prepared with love when I don't want or choose not to cook. My favourite dishes are the creamy veal cannelloni or veal medallions with pasta. Paired with a glass of red wine, salad and a dessert will always make me smile...the Tiramisu, although home made is not the best if you're a connoisseur like me. Buon Appetito!
This is the most authentic Italian Restaurant around. Small and quaint atmosphere just adds to the experience. The menu is small but not without the most delicious flavours you've ever had. My friend and I go for our birthdays every year and to celebrate life. Great prices make it affordable as well. 5 stars is the max available but a definite 10 in my books!
Langdon Alberta... not just a hop, skip and jump, but why not, urbanspoon says yes to the dress and worth the trip. The ride out was enjoyable, the sun setting in the west... and that was the best of it. I feel I should talk about the good parts of the evening... But sadly there was none, we were seated, asked for an order (Uh, sure can we have a menu first), ordered a bottle of wine (Uh, maybe train the staff how to pour the first glass), then the meal... Sadly we watched the cook (I refuse to call him a chief) pull our meal from a plastic bag from the freezer, nuke it then with care throw some sauce on it................. Ok we never saw it nuked, but it tasted the same. Raw pasta and over cooked salmon, crab cakes (liquid enjoyment soon followed, or should I say evacuation). This was without a doubt the worst meal we have ever had, and would go more into detail but I must run... evacuation come to life. Gordon Ramsey has met his match.
