Italian Garden Grill - Lake Jackson

We have been twice, the first time our food was great, but the service needed some work typical of a new restaurant. The second time our food was still great, but the service was much better, and our server trained another server step by step as she went. We had the Frio Appetizer, pretty good. We had the Minestrone soup that was fantastic! Probably the best I ever had. We ordered the Chicken Aristocrati eggplant and chicken in a Sampi sauce delicious over spaghetti. My daughter has the lasagna she loved. My son got the personal pizza, and it was much bigger than personal pizzas in other facilities! He said it was delicious. They brought us several bread baskets for the table and were attentive to our beverage refills. Our party of 6 was very happy with the food and service, and we will definitely be back!

My family and I have celebrated a special occasion and decided to try this despite mixed reviews, and we are so glad that we did. Every employee we treated tried to make us welcome and visit. The bread was fresh and soft, the salad cold and crisp and the drinks refilled. My husband had the baked Tuscany, which was described as having a spicy sauce, but it had only enough of a kick to improve the taste of the dish; I ordered the Rigatoni de piasola, the a brighter white wine sauce, well paired with the artichoke hearts and spinach in the bowl, and our 2 years old and 4 years old demolished the children baked ziti. Overall we had a pleasant experience and look forward to returning.

It was quite delicious! Sweet atmosphere. I have the special tonight. It was soooo good and the proportions were huge. It was very fresh tasting and loved my meal.

The atmosphere was nice, the waiting staff freendly. Eating smart is okay. For beginners the shrimp has napolini. Marinara in a lemon-wine sauce. Exceptional tasteful! The tortellini soup was a bit strong for me on Parmesan, but was otherwise tender. I had pasta combo, the ravioli was soft and tasteful on the inside, but outside edge undercooked and hard. The Manicotti was delicious!! The lasagna was a bit bitter. Dessert was melt in your mouth brilliant. Had the Tiramisu. Elegant sweet dessert that Jad you want more.

Nice romatic candle light type atmosphere. Good country music singers on the karaoke and it was not overwhelming. The food and service was excellent. Very relaxing atmosphere.
