Joey's Kitchen - Lahaina

Would recommend a trip to the main restaurant either for dine in or takeaway loved the food and the service was very friendly!

We ordered 6 dishes from Joey's. We all agreed the food was meh. It wasn't gross, it was edible, but bland, and nothing special, diferrent or unusual in any way.

Honestly this used to be our favorite spot. We stay each year for 2 weeks and we probably ate there 3-4 times each year. But each year the prices have gone up, they are in a mall Food court and you're paying high end restaurant prices. Not only that the food quality had gone WAY down. So now you have higher prices and worse food. $36 for Kalbi beef, $18 for fried rice in a food court. Sadly we will not be going back

We ordered a breakfast burrito, garlic fried rice, spam, Portuguese sausage, eggs and potatoes, my parents ordered the pulled pork with garlic rice. That was really good I enjoyed it and it was pretty flavorful. My daughter ordered spam, eggs and rice. fyi, they charge for the to go containers .30 each, I believe) staff wasn't as welcoming or friendly. I felt rushed. But the food was really good.

If the host of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives could kindly stop impacting my favorite restaurants in West Maui with his overhyped publicity, which only leads to rising prices and corners being cut due to overwhelming demand, that would be fantastic. Thank you! I gave this place four stars because of the food quality they’ve maintained since the fires; otherwise, it would barely earn two stars. This isn’t even a diner, drive-in, or dive—this place is upscale, reminiscent of downtown Laguna Beach or Newport Beach, and just as pricey. I’m sharing this review as constructive criticism in the hope of helping maintain quality. We’ve been staying in Honokowai every year for the past decade, and this time we’re here for a month. Joey’s used to be our favorite spot, as we are foodies, and Filipino cuisine is my comfort food from back home. The kitchen is outstanding when Joey is around, but sadly, without him, it just becomes another tourist trap to steer clear of.
