Manulito's Flame Grill - Ladybrand

Great late lunch watching England play Peru. Food, delicious, service very good.

The best, has changed my opinion about the place from the first glance.

Ladybrand is relatively a small town. And Manulito's is like a safe haven for folks that just wants to chill for few minutes or so. The waitresses are very welcoming and can engage in good conversation. Fairly speedy services. One didn't have to wait too long for our drinks and food respectively. However, the Pizza that we first tried out with cousin was seriously bad bad bad. OMG! How do you mess up a pizza though. The chilli and feda cheese were just killing my taste buds. I literally hated the pizza and had to get like a chicken something that would go down with my beer. But the place is pretty awesome. Very accessible and good view of the road.

The setup is good but... There was no other customer. It took forever for someone to offer help and bringing a menu. After 30 min I ask myself what this place does because, joh. During half time All blacks vs England, I ordered a Jalepeno chicken breast burger with Vegs or salad from the menu. After 40 minutes, I went to the counter to check what's taking so long.I was asked another 5min because he couldn't find veggies. After 8min he brought a plate with cutlery. I showed him my wiped fingers of the dusty table and asked it to be wiped. I started with my greek salad which was Awesomely lekkerrrrr. Lifted the crispy roll to look for sliced Jalapenos, nothing, only a tartar source which tasted a bit strong. The chicken breast which I looked for in awe, was so dry and actually burned the cheap fork bended on one occasion. I had to move my fingers on the bridge of the fork. The drinks fridge is empty, I had my own. He supplied the glass. Cost, R60. However as I said the place have potential, but I think their marketing strategy is poor and the chef don't get enough practice, perfecting skills. I would go again and try something else, just a bit afraid for ordering steak or prawns which I also saw on the menu. Lol

The customer service was good but the food took too long and that just makes one lose one's appetite. The place had no vibe, it has was a very boring and quiet restaurant.
