Lancer's Inn Maseru

A hidden gem in Maseru! I can't say enough about the incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful staff. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is superb. The rooms are also exceptional. I give it 5 stars across the board—it's always my top choice!

I had a great experience during my visit, and the staff were both friendly and professional.

The room I was given was spacious, but honestly, it felt quite bleak. The bathroom door didn’t close properly, the furniture was worn and shabby, and I encountered a constant trail of ants along the wall during my four-day stay. I understand that the hotel is undergoing renovations and that the finished rooms are much nicer, so hopefully, these issues will be resolved once everything is complete. The restaurant is excellent for dinner, and it’s wonderful that they serve at the poolside tables. However, breakfast was rather lackluster, so I would recommend visiting the café inside the Alliance Française just across the street instead.

The service was slow, but the inviting atmosphere is worth it. It's a beautiful restaurant with delicious meals, offering privacy while still being conveniently located in the city.

I spent the night there and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, the rooms were tidy with clean linens, and I absolutely loved the garden.
