This diner is fantastic! The fish fry on Friday nights is the best I've had. I just wish they were open for dinner more often. The service is excellent and the prices are reasonable.

My wife (who is Hispanic) and I tried to stop here for breakfast. There was a wait so we put our name in. A number of people who came after us were seated before us so my wife complained. They eventually sat us at the bar. We ordered our meals and emptied our coffee cups while people who sat long after us ordered, ate, and left. After roughly an hour we left. We looked online for another restaurant and drove there. As we walked up, another family recognized us from Union Diner and said they too were tired of seeing white people sat before them. I wish I had taken a picture of the kitchen which we could see from our bar stool. The staff is disheveled and I don’t know how the health department allows them to stay open. It appears they do not like Hispanics but after seeing how dirty this place is, I wouldn’t go back even if this was a misperception or coincidence.

Super, super, super cool place. The staff is awesome, and I really liked my food! Great pancakes!
