Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant is a fantastic spot for happy hour or small bites and drinks! I enjoyed a delicious martini and tavern fries here. I'm also taking a quart of soup home with me. I can't wait to return. The menu can be easily adjusted to accommodate dietary restrictions. Dinner at this restaurant typically costs between $20 and $30 per person. I highly recommend it for vegetarians, as there is a large selection of vegetarian options available.
After reflecting on my experience, I feel compelled to share the truth about this restaurant. The exterior sign was confusing, and the dimly lit entrance area made it difficult to navigate. Inside, the table we sat at was wobbly and uncomfortable, causing a mishap with a drink. The disposable flatware and community salt and pepper set were unusual. The food, served in carryout containers, was tasty but overpriced. The uncomfortable seating and lack of foot support made the dining experience unpleasant. The only reason to return would be to try the 9-hole par-3 golf course. Overall, this restaurant may fare better in the high season. Accessibility for wheelchair users was not evident. The parking lot was unpaved. I recommend caution if planning a visit.
After the owner's reply: Maybe update your website and Google Maps to accurately reflect the closure. We entered the bumpy and unkempt parking lot and approached the main house/tavern. However, there was a sign directing us to the golf course snack shack and drink area. We made our way to the bar area to check out the food options as we were very hungry and had gone out of our way to visit the tavern. A customer could tell we were not locals and offered some advice about the place, even pointing out the owners. She then recommended other restaurants to try. As she was talking to us, one of the owners walked by and we had to move out of her way. She did not greet us or provide a friendly smile. We followed the customer's advice and went to Fratellos instead. If you are looking for a nice dinner, this is not the place to go. If you want a drink and a nice view, then go ahead! That was my experience, just being honest!
We just had a very busy day and stopped over here to unwind after work. What a great relaxing place. Such a nice variety of interesting drinks and while the menu is limited, it is limited to things. They do extremely well. Absolutely fabulous. Thank you so much. The sandwiches come on waffles. The waffles are so light and fluffy, almost like poofy crepes. My friend and I shared one that was fried chicken, bacon, tomato and peppers and it was so good. My other friend had the lobster roll, just wonderful.
