Red y Mar - La Dorada

This restaurant was our choice to celebrate Father's Day. We made a reservation and they have the table ready for a big party, so from the beginning the service was good. The menu offers several options and we all ordered something else to try. I must admit that the Ceviche and the soup (offer as aside with the entree) were by far the best decisions. Only a problem that salmon and Robalo were understated and we have to ask the waiter to check this and they did it right away.

Absolutely the best seafood place in Bogota. We have dined at Red y Mar on the recommendation of a local resident. Nicely decorated interior, waiting staff is very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is quiet and pleasant (you could have a conversation) prices are reasonable considering the huge portions. I had the shrimp soup Cup de Camarones, who came with a side dish and fried curtains; for the drink I chose a beautiful juice from Guanabana (a very sweet fruit) and milk – that was heavenly! Wonderful experience and I will definitely return.
