O'charley's - Knoxville

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Our group of six waited a long time before the server finally came to greet us. When we were served water, it unfortunately had a taste reminiscent of sewer water, which was quite off-putting.

I ordered a steak and specifically requested it not to be seared, but it came out seared anyway, which was not what I wanted. I wanted it rare. I mentioned to the staff that I would just eat it as it was instead of asking them to fix it and make me another one.

The food is excellent, and unless the restaurant is really busy, the service is usually quick and friendly. I generally prefer sitting in the bar area. Their salads are massive and...

Brandy provided outstanding service during our visit. Despite the large party present, we were never left wanting. The chicken strips were truly exceptional, and there was plenty of food for everyone. All the dishes were served hot, and everything was incredibly flavorful. Trena, the hostess, made us feel like part of the family. I absolutely loved this place and will definitely be making a trip across town just to come back!

Dinner was good. My steak was undercooked but they fixed it and gave me fresh sides. Server was very nice and so helpful.
