Famous Dave's -b-que - Knoxville

I placed an order online and went to pick it up in the lobby. Hunter was incredibly sweet and very helpful, making sure I had everything I needed for my to-go order. They even offered me a drink to take with me, which was a nice touch. That part of the experience was fantastic! However, the food was a bit disappointing, likely because I picked it up right before closing. The baby back ribs were almost inedible, but the mac and cheese and everything else were great. Hunter, if you read this, it's your girl from Charleston with the blue hair—thank you!

We dined there around 2 PM today and had an excellent experience. The food was fantastic, and we encountered what might be the best waiter we've ever had. He really paid attention to our preferences and accurately sensed that my husband and child would enjoy the spicy BBQ sauce. He also engaged us in conversation about other aspects of the menu. He was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious as well. Thank you!

I've always had a great experience here, but today I have to mention that my catfish was a little overcooked and dry. However, the bread pudding was definitely worth the sugar shock I ended up with!

The tattooed, hooded earnings waiter called me honey! Not the kind of word I like a stranger to call me! We really wanted BBQ, I have to say, not what we expected. It was ok...my husband ordered Brisket, which was not Brisket, and was over cooked! The environment was good, don't think I'll be going there again...

We sat at the bar, the bartender was wonderful! She was very friendly and attentive. We got the half chicken with two sides. The corn muffin was very tasty. The chicken was very tender. Very nice dinner. I wish they had beer on tap though
