El Metate - Knoxville

This restaurant is a fantastic example of a top-notch Mexican dining experience! The staff is wonderful, and they serve the best fried ice cream I've ever had. I'm a big fan of tacos, and their shredded beef and chicken tacos are both delicious and very generous in portion. The chicken tortilla soup is another standout—it's amazing and also very hearty! My husband enjoys the fish dishes, which he raves about. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, and the prices are great. I highly recommend this place!

The food was excellent, and the lunch specials were very appealing. Although it was somewhat busy during my visit, the service remained fast and attentive. It's always nice to receive great service, especially when you're traveling.

Our neighbor recommended this place and it was excellent all around. Fast, friendly service. Clean restaurant. Good eats! The shredded beef and carnitas are both excellent. We’ll be back to try more!

We come here quite often, it's a really convenient location for us. Of the 20+ times I've been here, have never had a bad experience. Food service is always good!
