Bidrage med feedbackFirst time at chipotle, kept hearing good things and thought I?d give it a try. First off, the manager had to tell the line worker three times that I was ready to order. He acted like he was miserable and didn?t want to be there. When I asked what something was, he told me AS HE PUT THE ITEM ON THE BURRITO so I had no choice but to eat it at that point. When I got the salsa on the side so I can make sure it?s not too spicy, he didn?t put the lid on properly. I got home, my bag busted through the bottom because the salsa juice poured out everywhere, so my burrito hit the ground. Got inside, went to eat it, and this is what I opened it to. He didn?t even close the burrito all the way so my toppings are falling out. Definitely not going back to the Fountain City Chipotle. Not worth my time. Also, the queso is powdery and bland and I paid $5 for a small cup with chips. Not worth it.
I was looking at the reviews. I saw the rating of 3.9 stars but went to read the comments because sometimes people will say things because they just like to complain. What they said made sense. Not just from my experience years ago but from tonight. Tonight my husband and I had the chicken bowl. They had no more tomato salsa, guacamole, or queso cheese. I was so looking forward to chips and queso. The service was not bad. We had tried to order online but the only choice to pay was by Google Pay so we went in person. The chairs were uncomfortable. I was afraid of starting a sciatica cramp in my left leg because the edges were pressing into my thigh. Last time we came here 4 years ago I got sick. Thirty minutes later my stomach started to bloat and hurt. I spent the night throwing up and diarrhea. My husband got the runs the next day. I would call the head office to complain but a woman wrote that she tried calling but got no response and when she emailed them they did not answer her. This is poor management. I was told they were busy today and that's why they were missing stuff. But when you read the other comments here,. You see that this has been going in for quite awhile. Management doesn't read the comments here otherwise this situation would change (if they even cared).
Normally every chipotle we visit is like clockwork and offers a 5 star experience! Unfortunately not today. They were hurrying so much they kept making mistakes on our order (like guac on the side for example). We know they are in a hurry and this happens .. probably my biggest issue with chipotle in general is rushing the orders through. But the reason for only 3 stars. The rice was hard (way undercooked), the steak was much more red then I?ve ever seen, the chips were hard (like they were stale but we could tell they weren?t old), and the guacamole was missing something (it was soo bland). I?m sure it was just an exception but this time we left very disappointed.
First I want to start by saying I’ve ate at this particular chipotle for years and it’s always a great experience. Today was different! The customer service i received from the manager to the front line staff was horrible. I asked for guacamole and they didn’t currently have any in the container but I could visibly see a cook making a HUGE bowl of guacamole. The worker told me they didn’t have any and I pointed to the cook making guacamole. Long story short they refused to give me a scoop from the online orders bin that literally had one scoop left. The bowl in the back was being prepared to replace the in-store customers and online. I was told the online orders have already been paid for and they couldn’t give it to me but there was one scoop left! The container had to be refilled regardless! This will be mine and my families last trip to this chipotle. Sad thing is nothing will be done with the incompetent staff and management because work places are desperate for help. I’ve worked in the public for 15 years and this is not customer service!
Took a long time to get our food. They only had one person busting the line. She did great, while the shift manager just stood at the register watching. They were also out of veggies. It's still good food and the staff were nice.
