The service is very slow. waited so long that I just left without getting the food I paid for.

How to cook home, except you don't have to cook it. very nice staff too.

Two different paintings missed to give me plastic clothing and serviettes, bbq is too incorrigible to have no serviettes.

Most of my chili and bee and cheese were on the paper in which my dog was wrapped. should have been a single hot dog box. it was very good anyway.

A rare five star rating from a guy who knows bbq. I have eaten in hundreds of bbq places across the country. I give ratings based on totality of a restaurant: food, price, decor, parking, location, etc. Having said that, this is the best bbq for the price that I have ever had. They give a military discount and total cost for me and wife with complete meals and drinks was under $16. This is apparently a bbq fast food chain in the south. Each meal came with four jalapeno infused hush puppies that were very good. I got a smoked half chicken that had great smoke flavor and was still moist inside. Sides of slaw and potato salad were institutional but good. Wife had pulled pork with great smoke and flavor and still moist. Her fries were a surprise as they were obviously cooked in a good oil. Corn on cob was a bit mushy but ok. They had a container of self serve pickles at the container that were damn good pickles. House sauce was a smoky red with good taste. Nice woman working brought our food to us and brought drink refills and more hush puppies. Food was ready in under 5 minutes. Easy access off the highway with ample parking. Fully recommend as a quick bbq fix if you're like me: a northerner returning to the NE from TN/KY area.
