Brickyard Grill - Knoxville

Yelp misled us...imagine that. This place looked promising and seemed like a good choice for food and/or drinks, but felt like a big bait and switch. Showed up and it was empty with loud death metal going. Nobody else in the place but us. Service was decent while food was food horrible. Chicken tenders were like what I would imagine a gluten free chicken McNugget...same shape and all. Asked for some fries and requested them extra crispy but it was more like undercooked potato wedges.

Easily the best bar food I’ve had in Knoxville aside from Blackhorse Brewery. Beer and food were both delicious and the servers were as helpful as they could be with how busy it was. We had the Bride of Frankenstein flat and the chicken sandwich with chips. They had a list with different sections for beer which was also helpful. We also got our food fairly quickly compared to how busy it was.There was live music the night we went, and the atmosphere in general was welcoming and playful. Restrooms and inside were clean. There’s seating outside to smoke, hangout, and a stage for music too which we thought would be pretty cool for the warmer months.I would definitely come back again and plan to.

Small little bar in a strip plaza.. but made into a really nice bar. Great atmosphere, great service, excellent food. Went for a benefit music show they were hosting to raise money for a local musician in need and was more than happy to contribute.Food: 5/5

This was my first time at the restaurant. I went with my dad for NGW Project Violence No Ring, No Rules event. We sat at the bar and had some food - my dad had a sandwich and I had the barria tacos which were delicious. The Mule-a-codas were also amazing. We also got to watch the wrestling event multiple times. The bands playing before and after the event were great too. I will definitely be back and will bring my coworkers next time.

I think the $10 cover charge is excessive, but the delicious food, live entertainment, and welcoming staff more than justify it. The quality of the food surpassed my expectations and was truly amazing. It's a fantastic spot to hang out and enjoy yourself!
