Fabulous Burgers!. This place has really, really good burgers at very good prices! We eat here frequently.
Not bad for a privately-owned fast food place, except it's not terribly fast...about a 10 to 15 minute wait for the average walk-in order. The hamburgers are BLAND and NEED SALT. Also, tell them NOT to slop coleslaw on your burger...that's a Carolina thing, but it ruins the burger flavor. Cheese TaterTots are actually pretty good.
The food is delicious!!! Especially the corn nuggets! I always feel like you get a lot for your money. They have the classic outdoor drive-in, but also have a nice area inside where you can sit down to eat and escape the heat! Definitely worth the visit!!!
Once again we planned our trip today allowing time to stop in Kings Mountain at Blackwoods Drive in. Top of the order lemon cherry drop and sweet corn nuggets.... enjoy a step back in time and enjoy a real drive in experience.
