Incredible BBQ! Having enjoyed a lot of BBQ in Texas, I was thrilled to experience some authentic Carolina BBQ, and Red Bridges did not disappoint. The chopped pork sandwich and coleslaw were fantastic. I have to say, I was a bit taken aback by how sweet the sweet tea was—it's definitely enough to warrant a shot of insulin, and I'm not even diabetic! I recommend ordering it half sweet and half unsweetened; that should make it just right for those of us who prefer a milder sweetness. The staff was polite and quick to serve. One last piece of advice: definitely try the hush puppies for dessert. They taste like sweet funnel cake made from corn batter, minus the powdered sugar. A true delight!

This is an excellent family-run restaurant. I've been coming here for years, and it's truly one of the best barbecue spots in North Carolina. The service is consistently great, whether I'm dining with a large group or just with my wife.

This popular BBQ spot is the perfect stop on the way back to Charlotte from the mountains. My husband and I shared: Jumbo Plate Deviled Egg Sandwich Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato Sandwich Banana Pudding I wish I could get BBQ like this inCharlotte. It was fantastic. And so cheap. The hushpuppies and slaw were my favorites of the sides. I'd probably double up onthe BBQ plates next time.

The service here is friendly, and the BBQ is classic Carolinian style—vinegary and slightly dry, but still quite decent. However, the hush puppies are the absolute highlight; they might just be the best in the entire state!

Excellent place to have a barbecue. The barbecue is excellent, the portion is large and the price is quite cheap. The barbecue is very delicious. The hush puppies is the most delicious thing on the menu, I think their hush puppies are the best in theUS. The sauce is North Carolina style, so it is quite acidic, but it is very delicious. The place is clean enough. They havegood parking spaces, they also have a few seating outdoors. Excellent barbecue!
