Riverbend Pizza Steakhouse - Keosauqua

I don’t live in Van Buren county but visit often. I’ve driven past this restaurant a hundred times and thought it just looked plain and not enticing. Someone recommended to try it and I was glad we did. It’s very nice on the inside, food is very good and service was wonderful. I got a calzone and it was so good! Tenderloin was big and good also.I will be back!

Food was ok had pizza average. Service is great at this place. Food prices are expensive and quality of food is average. Restaurant is cold and noisy. Recent meal was average.

Very busy and service was slow but the food was great.

I noted that the manager is having difficulty finding a cook. I sincerely hope he finds one soon because the meals are declining. This weekend has been the worse meal we've ever had there. We've been kinda regulars for a few years now because it is one of the best restaurants around and you definitely got your monies worth, both portions and quality. My mom got a hamburger and it was burnt and the size of the quarter. I got a tenderloin and my wife looked at the sandwich and asked me where the tenderloin was plus the bun was stale. The tenderlion was buried under the lettuce. It was half the size it usually is and dry. My wife got her usual and it wasn't a minute steak. It was a frozen hamburger patty the size of a can lid. The side dish bowl was bigger than the meat dish. Ordinarily it is thick, juicy, and a lot larger. We love the atmosphere, the staff and town but the food was what kept bringing us back. Their food, ordinarily, is like eating a home cooked meal your mom/grandma would make not like a fast food restaurant.
