The food was really good, but the place is not very clean for them to be serving food. And the waitress was eating one table over from us and then didn't wash her hands before getting me a to-go box. The Bridge Cafe has been a long-standing establishment for many years. I have been going there since I was a child and still enjoy visiting when I travel back to Iowa. The restaurant has a nostalgic charm due to its dated decor, which I find adds to its appeal. The unique items on the buffet are a highlight for me, and I appreciate that they are not commonly found elsewhere. While I wish the place could be updated, I am happy that it continues to operate. The staff is friendly and the restrooms are clean. With some renovations, this restaurant could greatly improve its rating. I look forward to returning in the future. This is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food and excellent service. We plan on coming back again, as we have in the past. The atmosphere is great and I highly recommend trying the tacos, half roast beef plate, and salad bar on the buffet. The price per person for lunch ranges from $20 to $30.
