Bidrage med feedbackGreat place, one of my favorites in london. extensive selection of weeping and food, everything is fresh, very clean and personal are very responsive and child-friendly. the service is fast and welcome to them with a smile.
Galizien is located at the top of the portobello road, in the shadow of the pizza east. This small tapas spot was actually recommended to me as good wine-barable. to form true when we arrived at dinner a Friday night the whole thing was tamed with people who speak loudly and sniff rioja, gave the place a wonderful buzz. we have booked in advance what I would definitely recommend to do this, as the place was all the time we were there (especially with many Spanish people who in the rule a good sign!
The atmosphere is very authentic, the service very Spanish, timely and friendly. eating is good, either they can choose to eat tapas or the 3 courses menu. we had wonderful Galician otopus and pimientos padron ' as appetizers. the croquetas were also good. then codfish and beff for the net. the deserts were also authentic and good. we paid 26 pounds each with beer and wein, so it was not expensive at all.
Galicia is a family-run Spanish tapas square that has been running for years. My parents have been there for about 30 years. beautifully chilled vibe, her otopus is from this world. their weeping is beautiful too!
Tried the cosy venue for a late night fever, to gorge on tapas- it turned out to be a very unique selection with its menu, its staff and local atmosphere. Not the top notch tapa place I frequently dream about, but it is well worth a visit with family/friends so that you can just keep on ordering till the day is done. The baby octopus and padron peppers happen to be my personal favourite
