Blue Lotus Cafe Kelvin Grove

After a few years at QUT, I finally went into Blue Lotus. See, I don't drink coffee, and it mostly looked like a coffee place.

If you're a QUT student, there are basically two main cafe options.

Oh, the power that a quirkily designed cafe has over me will never cease to amaze me.

Coffee is well priced but consistently fairly good - can be served too hot at times. Food is fair quality, what you'd expect from a small cafe. Service is always friendly, but can be slow.

Breakfasts big enough to share and willingly done by staff. Free papers to read. Great tasting coffee. Sat morning markets make it a bit busier than usual but there are plenty of seats outside.. bit cold at the moment though. Staff very friendly. Loyalty card.
