Katherine Country Club

Been in Ktown on and off for business the last couple of years and have found the "Golfy" an amazing place especially on a Friday or Saturday night. Great food. Friendly staff. Cold beer. All sort of sports on the TV. Beer garden well designed. Pokies are a bit of fun. All in all I can't fault it. I will always come back.

Fantastic huge meal. Lovely outside area. Fabulous salad and hot vegs bar. Very enjoyable. Prices aren't cheap however such a long distance from other towns I believe very fair.

We asked around for recommendations as to where to eat in Katherine. The Country Club scored twice so we gave it a go.We had been forewarned about the size of the meals, but found them on par with other generous pub meals around the country. The chicken Parma, and seafood basket were not bad at all. I'm not a fan of seafood extender, and chunks of it deep fried and included in the seafood basket were left to one side. The Parma was pretty good. They have a beaut salad bar and a completely separate vegetable bar here, and for a modest price you can just eat from these - a good option.Otherwise the atmosphere is pretty Club standard: lots of televised sports and keno on big screens both inside and out, plenty of punters up at the bar and a pokies gaming area away from the dining room.This isn't fine dining by any stretch, but good, hearty pub grub.

The only bakery in town and they are rockin' it! The bakery is a full bakery in the morning with a large menu and Coffee.

The sweets here are fully loaded, we pick up a pizza here almost every Friday night.
