Taqueria Vallarta - Karnes City

This is my go-to place for tripa tacos. They're always cooked n seasoned perfectly. The lady at window is always very friendly. Sometimes, their drive thru is slow to get order, but they do have a buzzer if no is at the window. It's a popular place. Enchiladas are always good, too. Parking: Plenty of room to park BUT there is a BIG dip from main road to parking lot, especially if ur going thru the drive thru. It could damage a low car.

Dine In Friday Fish Platter was delicious.We actually bought extra Hush Puppies for the road. Fried fish was fresh and such a treat. Will travel that way again! Kid-friendliness: Exceptionally friendly and accommodating!

I really miss the days when they answered the phone to take to go orders. I honestly haven't ate from here in a while because they never answer. Oh well.

The home-made burger on sourdough bun is delicious. Also, you’ll never find a better chicken tortilla soup. Awesome cheesy broth. Everything in there is good, but those are my favorites. Gia, Virginia and Rosie get your order to you quick. Been eating here for several years, never disappointed. Parking: Ample parking. Easy in and out.

Food is usually pretty good. Service is okay, and the place is a little run down.
