We stop here whenever we go to Kalona. On our last visit we bought a number of sweet breads (banana nut, zucchini, etc. for Christmas time when our son's family would be visiting. There are also some very interesting flavors of bread (like dill . We always come home with a lot of good bread.

Wow! The bread was still warm when we got there around 10am and the pies were already gone. They must be good ??

Delicious pastries and fun gift shop! I recommend the onion dill bread. You can eat it with out any condiments like a monkey bread-so yummy and fun!

I can't really review the bakery but was given a jar of their Black raspberry, seedless, jam. It is wonderful and will be getting more. oldbuck
