Trout Town Tavern Eatery - Kalkaska

Trout Yown was very busy while we were in there. Service was good and I think the only thing we had to wait on, was getting our to-go containers for our unfinished meal portions. A friend and I, that don't get together as often as we should, hung out for over an hour over a delicious meal. We usually go to another place that happened to be doing some renovations..... But now Trout Town may become our new regular place to meet for dinner.

Excellent food! Always tastes amazing and we get something new every time we go.

I'll be back!! For the fish special on Thursdays and Fridays ? I wish they had a bar to sit at rather than just tables and booths.

We are on our way to the lakes, staying nearby from 6 hours away. Found this place by looking up food places. The staff were nice, efficient, and the bathroom was clean. The food was sooo good. we ordered a reuben, pretzels, mozzarella sticks, and the perch. Along with two appetizers and a beer. Everything was delicious, my husband said the perch was the best he's ever had. The mozzarella sticks were great.

The perch is fantastic for dinner, the whitefish sandwich is great for lunch. Will come back when I'm in the area again!
