Cc's Hot Tamales And Bbq

Smoked honey bun was really good. Brisket tamales were decent. Bbq ribs burned to a crisp sausage burned to a crisp tasted old. Loaded fries were decent. Tamales shrimp and spinach were nasty. $75 total spent.Love the venue.

The tamales were merger and not what I expected for the amount of money I spent. I bought the two so called award winning offerings and was disappointed in the size and quality of the tamales. The one redeeming purchase I made was a rib sandwich, it was delicious.Parking: Limited

1st, I'm not a family or friend. I'm a foodie and a chef. Yvonne Dodson's review obviously was given at a moment of extreme depression. Pray for her. These tamales are among the best in Houston. The Shrimp, spinach, broccoli tamales are insane!!!!?????

I just left and ordered brisket/Cajun chicken tamales.... And they were the BEST FREAKING tamales I've ever ate! In my life!So delicious I had to run and grab my phone to write this review!

I've been here maybe 2 to 3 times and they are definitely a solid four stars. However, I would admit the last time I went that tamales were pretty good but something was different about the seasoning. I can't really put a finger on it but they were good.They definitely put their version or spin on tamales. There are a different style. I like them however, they're just different. So you may be surprised when you try them because they they're nothing like you've had in Houston Texas before that's for sure. I would almost say there an acquired taste.The customer service is great. I will definitely come back and try more tamales maybe it was an off day a few weeks ago but the seasoning was different. It wasn't bad. It was just different or strong if you will. I highly recommend that you give them a shot. It's always great to support local businesses. These guys are doing a great job with their business. So far I have tried the pork and the beef. I will definitely try more and update my review when I go back.
