Local Poke - Houston

I got the Heights, small, and was fresh delicious and very well prepared. I recommend this place.

This poke spot is the best !!!The staff here are really nice and kind and it has an amazing vibe to it .The Young man that helped me is always there when i go around my lunch and is always kind he made me feel welcomed everytime i go in if you come here look for him he has a low hair cut with a goatee???

I had a great time here. I come to this place almost every day and super obsessed with Poké! Super affordable prices, nice staff and really nice atmosphere, definitely recommend.

Local poke has been my go to establishment for poke since it opened down the street from me. We would usually go here at least once a week for our fix. We have been out of the country for the last 3 months and was excited to come back for poke but have noticed the quality has changed. Everything is a lot smaller portion and including the rice. The quality of the fish (tuna, salmon, yellowtail) is not as fresh and you can taste how fishy it is. Even the color of the fish is not the highest quality as it was before. We noticed they don't offer tobiko anymore and even the spicy poke sauce has changed. We are wondering if they changed management. We both had stomach pains within an hour of eating the poke. Sorry but I think we will not be coming back anymore. Bring back the local poke that we have grown to love.

The workers were nice and also was the poke. Very casual and not too expensive compared to other poke places.
