This place has been the best in the area for as long as I can remember. I've been buying their bread and ginger cakes since I was very young, and it's always been a favorite of mine.

If you're traveling through Jeanerette, you definitely need to stop by this gem of an old-fashioned bakery. Even if you don't buy any bread, it's worth the visit just to soak in the atmosphere. They serve hot, fresh French bread every day, and their gingerbread cakes are absolutely delicious. I truly love this place! Just a heads-up: they only accept cash or checks.

It felt like a trip back in time! The atmosphere was casual, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The garlic bread and gingerbread were both delicious.
