The Canvas Cafe Creative Venue

When reading this blog, you'll often sense my love for East London. However, sometimes the area's cool factor can feel a bit too exclusive. Recently, I began working on creative projects outside of my regular office job. Even though I've visited nearly every café in Shoreditch, my explorations were limited. Every Friday, I'd pack my bag and come up with excuses for why I couldn't work from my apartment. But everything changed this week.

This is a charming little coffee shop located in a vibrant area that will surely attract creatives who have already explored Hanbury Street and Brick Lane. It passed my "flat white test" with flying colors! There’s also a lively atmosphere inside, with various activities to enjoy. I'm seriously considering going back to check out more of what they offer!

This café is truly amazing and has become my favorite spot in London. The atmosphere, the people, and the food are all fantastic. I highly recommend their cowardly torte—it's a must-try! The pancakes are tasty as well, though they could use a bit more fluffiness. The soup of the day, spicy pumpkin, was simply perfect. They occasionally host events, and I look forward to attending one in the future. One thing that stands out is their practice of encouraging visitors to pay for meals during off-peak hours for a better deal, which I think is quite generous.

We came to dinner at 19 o'clock on Friday night and really enjoyed it. the menu is limited to this time, they only have the specials and the “cheese” boards, but we were taken back how delicious it was eating! we chose the vegan calamari that tastes just like the actual deal! the thick cut chips were absolutely delicious. the homemade limonade was incredibly refreshing. a really great experience. love how they deliver their coffee of redemption bratereien, all their suppliers are social companies and they also do a food bank. a really great community café.

We ordered the full English breakfast after speaking directly to the chef they were happy to explain the menu options and there were very friendly and welcoming! The staff member at the counter was very busy today but they were very friendly and attentive to us. The food was AMAZING. The best vegan breakfast I’ve had from anywhere so far. The beans are home made, as well as the hash browns. Massive portion and delicious and nutritious. Oh and the coffee (oat cappuccino) was sooooooo tasty
