Panda Express - Island City

I am always disappointed. I have given this location several try’s, and it’s just not good. It’s not worth wasting the money anymore. The food is always dry and flavorless. I absolutely love Panda Express and this location just sucks. It tastes nothing like the chains in the bigger cities.

Let's face it La Grande, this was a bigger flop than the last episode of GoT. It was cheap and good when the College Place team opened up. Since that time it has become more expensive then the sit down Chinese food restaurants and the food just tastes like depression. I was so excited for this place to open and now I have to wait till my brain and stomach both forget how the food was before I go back to eat it again.

Food is always good and the place is always clean but, only 2 of the staff have ever smiled. A smile goes a long way to making a happy customer.Vegetarian options: Steamed veggies.

I don't like giving bad reviews but I won't be going here anymore. The manager, or who I assume is the manager, is very nice and I know it's hard to find good help but they rarely have what I want, string bean chicken, and I've walked out a few times because I was told they are out or they would have to make it. Today I was told 8 or 9 minutes but decided to wait anyway. It took at least 5 minutes before anyone started cooking anything and I'm pretty sure it was shrimp and not chicken. After about 12 or 13 minutes I checked to see if there was any string bean chicken but there wasn't so I left. The employees were not exactly friendly and there were plenty of eye rolls when a large group came in. IMHO you should just remove string bean chicken from the menu if it's that big of an issue. I've had similar issues at other PEs as well so this isn't unique to this store. There has been a distinct worsening of quality with Panda dishes all over. It's unfortunate because I've been a big PE consumer for many years.
