Thai Fresh Gardens - La Grande

Normally I love the fresh rolls and I still do those are always great but the sauce makes the dish and unfortunately the last few times Ive ordered the peanut sauce has been pretty bad, too salty and lacking the sweetness to balance it out. I can tell too much soy sauce has been used in it lately and I think fish sauce as well cause this one time it had a plastic like sour aftertaste and without the sauce i didnt eat pretty much the whole order, although I attempted to power through but couldnt do it in the end. I want to say, I love the food you guys create, truly I do but Im afraid to even order anymore cause the one thing i like to get, that is relatively healthy, im afraid Ill waste my money and get the bad sauce again. I debated leaving a review and I told myself I wont say anything unless it happens more then twice, it has happened to me three times in a row and I just dont order anymore but yet I crave the way the sauce used to be, if you have changed your recipe i am begging you to change it back if that is possible.

My new favorite Thai restaurant!!! The Mango Sticky Rice is sublime! The Thai tea is awesome and the service is fast. My new go to for lunch!

Stuck here in town, (truck driver) as my rig is in the shop. Decided to try this place. Ordered the Crying Tiger , med rare, and the Basil Fried Rice... both were amazing. Beef was cooked too perfection, dipping sauce was amazing. Fried rice was good with hint of spice, due to the spicy garlic. Combined the two and its out of this world.

I was twice in Thai Fresh Gardens to dinate, and have taken many times out there. As others have said, this place is not easy to find. My advice is to go down the stairs and go until you find it, there are signs, but they are not the best. Regarding food, I enjoyed everything I had there. As someone who is moderately dairy gluten intolerant, they were very accommodating and even listing their entrees for gluten intolerance (if you are celiac, don't risk it). Their prices are quite reasonable and will not surprise anyone who had Thai food here in the USA. Even the restaurant itself is very nice inside when something dark regarding lighting. My last warning is not to take their heat values easily, my dad has learned that the hard way! Certainly try it, it is good food with great staff.

Drove through La Grande on a road trip and was excited to find Thai food! Yummy/big portions We'll be stopping by on our way back!
