Pho Lucky - Iowa City

We came in later at night at 7:15pm. Normally we expect bad service outside the normal dinner time, but the server was courteous and prompt. We ordered egg rolls and spring rolls. Both were very good, with good sauces. We each ordered Pho and it was very good (and large portions). Definitely worth coming to see. Really appreciate the Vietnamese food that is not trying to be americanized.

My sister and I found this place on a whim, and it is by far the best pho either of us have had. The service was excellent, and our food came out quickly. The restaurant is clean, and the staff was super friendly. Plus, the portions are large enough that I can take the rest home and eat it as a full meal the next day. I’ve been back four or five times and almost always order the chicken pho.

Very nice service. We got some delicious vegetable tofu pho with vegetable broth, which ended up being a great whole food, plant based option. The vegetable broth option wasn't on their menu, but I'd encourage them to add it to make this a more obvious choice for vegetarian and vegan customers.

House Pho was great, just great! Such fresh ingredients and a great convenient location. Glad to have been served here before too many people find out about IC’s best kept Pho secret. Well done!

Had the sliced beef pho and it was delicious. Great broth, so yummy. My wife had the noodles and pork and loved it as well. The eggrolls are really good. The hot tea was made with leaves instead of bags too. Very polite, personable, and prompt service. Will be back for sure!
